Finally the day came. After getting bored in home for a little over two months, I was finally able to start for my college on 24th of June. Although at that very moment, I was feeling a bit sad about parting away from home, but the joy of getting back into college life was more than that and moreover later on I found out that I had three beauties to entertain me.
The whistle blew and my mom, dad and two bros gave their final words of wisdom. Raja, my smallest and dearest brother kissed me on my cheek and with that we bid adieu to each other as the train gradually leaved the platform and started gaining pace.
Well, so I was done with the emotional overdose and now was free to enjoy the journey. I had the side berth which has proved to be my favourite berth since I started travelling in trains; I mean this is the only berth where u can enjoy both the windows and still can have a look at the rest of the compartment to check whether any attractive person (of the opposite gender of course) has entered the compartment; you don't have to take the pain of traversing the whole length of the compartment after every stoppage.
Opposite to my seat I had a young gentleman much to my pleasure as generally I have the priviledge (this is an irony!) to travel with old men (I would not at all say gentlemen), who don't allow you to speak and rather load you with their sixty years of experience, how learned are they, how successful they have become even after facing uncountable hardships and lastly of course tips on what should you do to become successsful in life.
This gentleman was behaving more than nice to me taking care of my appetite and even of my luggage. He once offered me idli at a station after eating which I had a bit of stomach ache and so I wanted to lie down and I told him so. He told me that he would move up if I could remove one of my bags to create sufficient space for him. Then he said that I should probably move the bag containing the laptop at which I was as dumb as if thunderstruck.I wondered how he came to know about it; maybe I have told him or my mom mentioned something about it while I was getting into the train. Well, at that time I agreed with him and prayed to God that everything should go right.
He was a nice guy but and my expectations from him fortunately proved to be wrong. Still one should not mention about such costly items their fellow passengers are carrying like Voldemort's name should not be mentioned. Anyways, he was a nice chap to converse with. We had an extended discussion on the Indian cricket team. Four of India's greatest cricketers were going to retire within next 2 to 3 months and probably Yuvi or Mahi were would be the future team leaders. We have many emerging new talents in the form of Peeyush Chawla, Rohit Sharma and Yousuf Pathan.
I also came to know about some nice facts:
1. Indian team underwent aweek long 'commando training' before the worldcup which produced an injured Yuvi.
2. India has only two world class grounds - Eden Gardens and Mohali.
3.2011 worldcup was going to be jointly organised by India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
4. 2011 semis are in Sri Lanka
5. 2011 final in India
While roaming in the compartment which I like very much, I spotted three beautiful girls. Actually, two of them were the typical north-eastern types; nicely pressed faces, knitted hair and Nerolac white painted body. 'Hot', I thought but not of my type.
The third beauty (a beauty actually as discovered later) was sleeping at the upper berth. She was young I could say looking at her feet. She suddenly woke up and I felt that she must have seen some scary dream. 'She had been sleeping for some 5 hours' I calculated. "She sleeps a lot like me", I thought. Soon she came down with her hair tied and I had a nice look at her. Man I must say she was pretty and was looking hot. "Girls do look hot after they wake up", I thought.
She again appeared after sometime with a fresh look. She wore a grey coloured jeans with a light grey t-shirt on top. The t-shirt was not too long and this allowed me to have a look at her naval ring as she was climbing down(believe me it was not intentional). Anyways, I quickly concluded that hers was the upper berth and so I exchanged the my seat for the adjacent upper berth.
The night was beautiful and in the morning I reached my destination and the same was hers. I smiled at the thought that I would be able to meet her sometimes in the city and look forward to something interesting. Anyways, I had to hurry to the college or else the queue near the Administrative building for registration would get longer. So the short and sweet journey had to end there.
